Rise of the Guardians~If Toothiana Were Human...by =Shade-of-Anime

What would she look like?

Would she be a featherless mess who had been plucked of her splendour or would she be a cherub faced beauty with cheeks as blushed and red as peaches ripe in spring and eyes are glimmering as amethyst diamonds whose iridescence shines even through a skin of porceline human flesh...

Thought I would finally contribute some art to the Rise of the Guardians fandom. This is just an idea that I had before when thinking about Tooth. Since Toothiana is half human hummingbird, then that would probably mean she has both a full hummingbird or faery form and a human form.
We already saw what she looks like in full faery glamour but...I’ve always been curious as to how Toothian would look if she were to suddenly shead most of her feathers and was just...human.

So I came up with this concept that one every 250 years, give or take, around the full moon, Tooth will go through a metamorphosis period during which she loses all of old feathers in order to grow new ones and while her feathers are growing back, it would be a sort of vulnerable period for Tooth since she will be human during that and will be somewhat powerless.

Anyways, to make a long story short, this is how I’d envision Tooth to look like if she were human for a day. I’d imagine that she’s still keep some semblance of her fairy self, retaining some of her hummingbird feathers to conceal her newlyexposed cleavage (because Tooth has NO BOOBS in faery form O_o. Don’t think I didn’t notice that, Dreamworks) but for the most part, this is how she will be.
I imagined her with a short hairstyle rather than long locks since she’s more accustomed to having long feathers and wouldn’t have much hair on her head. I pictured her with dark reddish-brown hair to contrast and compliment the light green hue of her feathers styled in a pixie cut.

I also pictured her with a pixie cut to compliment Jack Frost. If Jack and Human Tooth were to stand next to each other, his spiky frost white hair will definitely contrast nice with the dark red of Tooth’s pixie hair, am I right?

Anyways...that’s how I see Tooth as a human girl.

I’m curious to know if I’m the only ROTG-er who’s ever considered Tooth as a human. But all in all, I hope my fellow ROTG-ers, especially Tooth fans can appreciate this.

About the Art:

I have to say I’m pleased with how this came about. I’m trying out a new style and I think it’s working. I also trying colour correction in Photoshop for the first time, using levels and curves and it really helped to make this art pop more. I even made a process of this video.

let us begin

I like the colors very well, as the green glow around the woman around.
The attention to detail I can see and think it's great.

Colors fit together. The woman is the center of the image, which is also important and beautiful.

Hair are painted very well.
But what I do not like so much:

The chin of the woman pointed to me personally, but it is also a matter of taste.

What is really disturbing is that the body is cut off.

Otherwise, I think all in all, the woman painted very well

Mmmhmm, yes I know about the GOC book about Tooth. I really would like to read it but the book isn't available where I live, as far as I know. Though I did hear about audible.com so I was gonna check to see if I could download it as an audio book along with the others on Sandy, Bunny and North.
Since you recommended it, does that mean you've read the GOC series yourself?
